This Shipping Policy details our shipping methods, costs, delivery times, and procedures for orders placed on our website, www.homeplusstorage.com. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
1. Order Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1-3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays in Ontario, Canada) after your payment is confirmed. Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST or on weekends/holidays will begin processing on the next business day. You will receive an order confirmation email once your order is successfully received.
2. Shipping Methods, Timeframes & Costs
We ship to most regions within Canada, the United States, and internationally. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date your order is shipped, not the date of purchase. All shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, the weight of your items, and the selected shipping method.
A. Domestic Shipping (Within Canada):
- Standard Shipping (5-10 business days): Cost calculated at checkout.
- Expedited Shipping (3-5 business days): Higher flat-rate fee.
- FREE Standard Shipping: We proudly offer FREE Standard Shipping on all domestic orders over a specified amount (please refer to checkout for the current threshold).
B. International Shipping (To the USA & Other Countries):
- International Standard Shipping (7-20 business days): Delivery time varies by destination. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
- Please note: All international orders are subject to customs clearance and may incur import duties, taxes, or fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. We cannot predict or control these charges.
3. Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number and a link to track your package. Tracking information typically becomes available within 24-48 hours of shipment for domestic orders. For international orders, tracking updates may be delayed until the package enters the destination country’s postal network.
4. Shipping Address Accuracy
You are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address at checkout, including apartment/suite numbers and correct postal codes. We are not responsible for orders delayed, returned, or lost due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. If an order is returned to us due to an address error, we will contact you. Reshipping will require a new payment for shipping fees.
5. Delivery Issues & Lost Packages
- Failed Delivery Attempts: Carriers typically make 1-3 delivery attempts. If a package cannot be delivered, the carrier will leave a notice with instructions for pickup or rescheduling.
- Unclaimed Packages: Packages that remain unclaimed and are returned to us will be considered a return. The customer will be issued store credit for the merchandise value, minus the initial and return shipping costs.
- Lost in Transit: If your tracking information shows no movement for an extended period (e.g., 15 business days for domestic, 30 for international) beyond the estimated delivery date, please contact us at rulefication@homeplusstorage.com. We will initiate an investigation with the carrier. If the package is confirmed lost by the carrier, we will, at your discretion, ship a replacement or issue store credit.
6. Shipping Delays
While we strive to meet all estimated delivery times, unforeseen delays can occur due to factors beyond our control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, carrier network disruptions, customs hold-ups, or global events. We appreciate your patience and understanding in such circumstances.
7. Shipping Restrictions
We currently cannot ship to all countries due to logistical, legal, or geopolitical restrictions. If our online checkout does not list your country, we apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact us to inquire about future shipping availability.
8. Policy Updates
We may update this Shipping Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. The policy in effect on the date of your order will apply to that shipment.
